The Branch was established in the 1960's and meets regularly (usually on the first Friday of the month) at The Environment Centre in Swansea. Members can, if they choose, participate actively in Branch meetings - existing members frequently present slide shows on specialist shipping topics, both historical and current. Various other events take place throughout the year, often in association with other Branches of the Society.
